The Passport Safe is a Revolutionary Concept in Safe Technology. In early 1990 a couple of thousand man hours was invested in the design, material selection, manufacturing techniques and testing of the World's first and only Relocatable, High Security, Light-Weight Passport Safe manufactured from GE Lexan Polycarbonate.

In 1993 the Passport Safe was introduced to the Australian and American market.
The Passport Safe Box only weighs 1Kg (2.2 Pounds) empty. Even though it is Incredibly Light-Weight, it is as Tough as Steel and Virtually Indestructible. This ensures absolute security for your Passport (can secure up to three passports), Birth Certificate, Insurance documents, Jewellery, Cash, spare keys and other small valuables.

The Passport Safe Comes In Five Parts
1 - Docking Station
Docking Station is easily installed to almost any flat surface and at any angle, even upside down, using screws, bolts or ACRYLIC (water based) glue into which the Passport Safe slides in and locks with the supplied High Security Abloy Classic Lock or Abloy PROTEC Lock. Once locked the Passport Safe conceals all fastenings used eg. screws or bolts.
2 - Safe Box
The lid on the Passport Safe locks with the supplied High Security Abloy Classic Lock and Key or Abloy PROTEC Lock and Key. This allows the Passport Safe to be taken from one location to another without the contents being exposed eg. slide the Passport Safe out of one Docking Station then lock the lid. Then take the Passport Safe to another previously installed Docking Station and slide it in and lock it with the supplied High Security Abloy Classic Key or Abloy PROTEC Key.
Wherever a Docking Station has been installed,
a Passport Safe can be slid in and locked with the supplied Abloy Classic Key or Abloy PROTEC Key.
3 - Removable Insert Boxes
Each Passport Safe includes four Removable Insert Boxes. You can see in the picture on your right the two centre Insert Boxes have a cut out that is half the height and width of each. This allows up to three Passports and/or a few CD's / DVD's of backed up data to be secured on top and the bottom half of both can be used to secure Jewellery, Cash, spare keys or other small valuables. Other items can also be secured in the Insert Boxes at either end.
NB: 200 notes can be secured in each Insert Box. That's $80,000 plus this small, light-weight, virtually indestructible Safe Box can secure.
The inside of each Insert Box has been Flocked.
Flocking is a heavy duty automotive grade velvet/suede finish, that was used on selected parts of Ford LTD’s. Flocking is electrostatically fired into a special adhesive resulting in both a hard wearing and protective coating that puts a beautiful finishing touch on selected internal parts of the Passport Safe.
To secure Birth Certificates, Insurance documents and other documents, remove the first three Insert Boxes, place the documents in the Passport Safe then, replace the Insert Boxes. NB: Up to twelve thicknesses of standard 80 gram paper can be placed under the Insert Boxes. Anymore and the lid may not close.
4 - Customised Heavy Duty Cam
Fitted to the back of the Abloy Classic Lock or Abloy PROTEC Lock, inside the Passport Safe, is a customised heavy duty cam.
When the Passport Safe lid is closed and the High Security Abloy Key is turned 180 degrees the cam secures the lid to the Passport Safe through a specially designed slot in the lid.
5 - Abloy Lock
Your choice of two High Security Abloy Locks.
- Abloy Classic 6mm Left Hand Security Lock, includes a customised heavy duty cam and two super strong Nickel Silver Abloy Classic keys. It has a possible 33 million different key combinations, it cannot be drilled and is virtually pick proof. Used for individually keyed safes.
- Abloy PROTEC (Ultra) High Security Lock, includes a customised heavy duty cam and two super strong Nickel Silver Abloy PROTEC keys. It has a possible 1.97 billion different key combinations, it cannot be drilled and is mechanically impossible to pick.
It is the World’s First unpickable Lock. Used for keyed alike and individually keyed safes or is an exceptional (cost effective) Master Key System, including Master, Grand Master and Grand Grand Master Keys.

Another Method To Use The Passport Safe
If you have a number of documents and only a small number of valuables:
- Remove the four Insert Boxes and place Passports, Birth Certificates and other documents in the empty Passport Safe and place other valuables on top of the documents.
- Close the lid, slide the Passport Safe into its Docking Station and lock it with the supplied High Security Abloy Classic Key or Abloy PROTEC Key.
Passport Safe can be installed / hidden
in places a thief would not expect to look.
The Passport Safe Can Be Secured In Vehicles
The Passport Safe is the only Lexan Safe in the World that can be secured in most vehicles by initially installing a specially designed Vehicle Fixing Kit in the Vehicle.
Once installed a Docking Station is bolted to the Vehicle Fixing Kit then the Passport Safe is slid in and locked with the supplied High Security Abloy Classic Key or Abloy PROTEC Key. Once locked the Passport Safe is virtually theft proof.
