The Protector Wheel Clamp Steel Shield is Australian designed and manufactured and made from a solid Steel plate. The unique shape is cut on a computerised laser cutting machine. Unlike other wheel clamps that have three arms that only wrap around the width of the tyre the Protector Wheel Clamp has four specifically placed round holes in it. Two at the bottom and two at the top, as you can see in the picture above.
These holes are used to place the supplied Mild Steel Chain through. The Mild Steel Chain is placed through the two bottom holes, under the vehicle's springs or tubular frame and then through the two top holes and locked at the front of the Steel Shield with the supplied Padlock, as you can see in the following picture.

The Protector Wheel Clamp includes 8mm diameter Galvanized Mild Steel Chain.
The Protector Wheel Clamp was designed to stop a opportunistic thief from stealing a towable or drivable Vehicle.

Although the Steel Shield is an important part of the Protector Wheel Clamp anti theft device it is the supplied Mild Steel Chain and the method used to secure the Steel Shield to a Wheel at 4 points and to the vehicle's springs or tubular frame at 2 points as you can see in the following picture.

Recommended Use
Any towable or driveable Vehicle with a market value under $5,000.00. The Protector Wheel Clamp is quick and simple to fit to and remove from a Wheel and the look of it is an excellent visual deterrent.
If a thief sees your towable or drivable Vehicle with a Protector Wheel Clamp fitted to one Wheel and another Vehicle without a Wheel Clamp fitted the thief will steal the one without a Wheel Clamp.
Available In Two Other Options
The Wheel Clamp Is also available to purchase in two other security options: Enforcer or Supreme each with an increasing level of security.
