Steel Shield - What Is It For

1.	The Steel Shield stands in front of the Wheel that is going to be protected covering the wheel nuts and the tyre's valve.
2.	It has four specifically positioned holes, two on the top and two on the bottom, where the High Tensile Chain passes through securing the Wheel to the vehicle's springs or tubular frame.
3.	Designed to protect and fit all diameter and width wheels from a Wheel on a Jet Ski Trailer up to a Wheel on a 4WD Camper Trailer and all size wheels in between.
4.	Fitting and removing to and from a Wheel could not be easier or be more secure.

Steel Shield - How To Fit It To A Wheel

1.	Stand the Steel Shield in front of a Wheel.
2.	Pick up both ends of the High Tensile Chain, place each end through the bottom hole on each leg of the Steel Shield.
3.	Place both ends of the High Tensile Chain under and then over the top of the vehicle's springs or tubular frame.
4.	Then place both ends of the High Tensile Chain through each hole on either side at the top of the Steel Shield.
5.	Pull the High Tensile Chain tight and lock it with the supplied Padlock or Padlock Protection patented locking system.

3 - 10mm Diameter High Tensile Chain

Padlock Protection includes 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain. Cannot be cut with a standard Bolt Cutter, Hack Saw or any other non powered hand-held metal cutting tool.

Most people use Mild Steel Chain with their Padlock to secure a gate or other valuable possessions eg. a Wheel on a Trailer, Motorbike, Caravan, Jet Ski or anything else that requires a Padlock and Chain to protect it. During the design stage of the Steel Shroud we decided there was no point designing a product that makes a Padlock impenetrable to the three common methods thieves / vandals use to break a Padlock and then include a piece of Mild Steel Chain that can be easily cut with a Bolt Cutter.
